Stonechat Comes Calling

While waiting for sightings of Short Eared Owls on the heathland today this inquisitive little Male Stonechat rose out of the grass and moved in closer to see what I was all about !

He proved to be a bit of a poser and for a while I was all about capturing a few close portraits of this lively little bird which had a very big character !
