Ever Watchful Peregrines

A pair of  hungry ever watchful Peregrines have their eyes peeled looking for passing prey on south Cornish coast cliff tops.

As the female is distracted while manicuring her nails the male spots a distant Pigeon and is off in pursuit

The male returns to the cliffs and tucks straight into the luckless pigeon with a flurry of plucked feathers tossed all around.

The female soon moves in to claim her part of the prey and with their hunger satisfied the pair settle down to a more relaxed day.
