On my way to millpool this morning I stopped to pick off the sunrise in a field alongside of a large farm barn,
The sunrise looked good but I thought that perhaps the foreground was a bit lacking in subject matter
It was then that I noticed the superb ironwork in a weather vain on the apex of the barn which could lend itself rather well to the foreground of the sunrise composition.
I took a few shots and post production in photoshop did the rest in producing a shot of how this scene might have looked many years ago, 'The Early Riser' .
I drove on down to Millpool which was looking peaceful with the sunrise and spent some more time recording the local cock Pheasant behaviour.
