These hunting Owl images were taken on Cornish high ground during Friday's sunny and calm conditions but the voles seemed to be a bit thin on the ground and none were seen taken.
This was excellent from a photographers immediate perspective with longer periods of hunting to work with but perhaps not so good for the hungry birds who will in the longer term move on to greener pastures if the pickings get to slim.
