Buzzard Close-up Portraits: Part 3

The Buzzard that predates on voles and frogs etc along the entire length of Marazion Marsh has on so many occasions provided me with low flying behaviour images at a far closer range than any other public location that I know in west Cornwall,

Over time this bird has developed a good tolerance to people and road traffic that pass the warren on a constant basis knowing full well that none will venture into it.

Yesterday was a very good example of this tolerance as the bird carried on hunting while fully aware of my presence for nearly two hours and it also choose to fly within full frame distance on several occasions.

Given good weather the North facing aspect of the Marsh that fronts Mounts Bay also ensures that sun is consistently behind you as the bird moves around.

So when there is no exotic Bittern, Water Rail or Kingfisher to be seen don't just walk away but wait awhile and this lovely Buzzard might treat you to some good close behaviour or portrait images anywhere along the warren!!
