It was another fine and bright start to the day at Ryan's field this morning and a pair of Kingfisher were out and about fishing before the light levels were really good enough to work on them.
But it is difficult to ignore these photogenic and popular birds so I snapped away doing the best I could against the light.
The fishing was going slow and it was a long time before either bird attempted a dive and even then the result was negative so no kingfisher with fish images today !!
The next three images were the only flight shots on and off of the perch post that I captured on this visit but they married together quite nicely to form a feeling of movement in the final montage.
