Kestrel Prey Hand-over.

A male Kestrel returns to its nest site without any prey to hand-over to the waiting female who shouts her disapproval.

The male goes for ' Plan B ' and flies to a site stash and recovers a fine male lizard that he had caught earlier.

He climbs to a higher position and displays the lizard to the female who flies in to claim it,

She puts some distance back between them and the lizard is soon on its way down the hatch while the male is off back on the hunt once again to replenish his stock.
