Skye Gannets

This dramatic phone camera shot was taken of the cloud covered mountains as we headed southeast before sunrise on our first morning on Skye

The dramatic and challenging ridges of the Black Cuillin made a splendid backdrop to Gannets diving into mackerel shoals that were far closer inshore than we tend to get in Cornwall.

This whole spectacle was just an add-on interest while we waited for a female Otter that did eventually show up to feed in the low water seaweed along the near shoreline on our first photo- shoot on Skye.

Their will be more photos and details relating to this female Otter in my next blog
