Mating kestrels

As the sun rises up over the north Cornish coast cliffs a female Kestrel call to her mate as she adopts a familiar mating stance.

The male Kestrel responds immediately and this fine pair of birds join together in well practised harmony

Its all over in a matter of seconds and the male leaves to restart his hunting activities.

Check my next blog on Prey hand-overs to see how this well rehearsed pair continue their day !
