Longrock Roe Deer
These shaggy looking Doe Roe Deer which are shedding their winter coats were showing well at Longrock fields in very low light levels this morning.
The fields were ploughed and re-grassed recently and the return of the deer comes along with the regrowth of their favoured Dot leaf which should now be available throughout the summer,
We now need a few brighter early mornings and a new red summer coat on the deer to show them at their best.
Taking a wee break !
Looking at this female, Come June we hope to see a few kids arriving on the scene as well
