Fox and Badger Trail : Part two

One of the Badger enters along the trail that is well worn and used regularly by several badger, fox and local cats most evenings

All seem to have acquired a tolerance of each other providing that a reasonable distance is maintained but if push comes to shove its the Badger that wins any stand-offs and the fox will give way to all except some of their own.

The Badger checks all of the locations where little stashes of peanuts occasionally seem to arrive as he works his way along the trail and as always a fox arrives before he has really finished

This fox has to be very alert when coming so close as Badgers are amazingly fast at reversing and they also have a vicious ' back-heel ' when obstructed !
